Policy Advocacy & Ministry Engagement – Elevating the Voice of Magazines

AIM has taken a proactive and strategic role in engaging with key ministries and senior bureaucrats to position magazines as vital instruments of education, cultural preservation, and public communication. Recognizing that magazines offer curated, credible, and context-rich content across genres and languages, AIM has consistently advocated for their inclusion in national literacy programs, school outreach initiatives, and cultural campaigns.

IRCTC Collaboration – Magazines On The Move

In a landmark initiative to expand magazine accessibility and enhance passenger experience, the Association of Indian Magazines forged a strategic partnership with Indian Railways and IRCTC, enabling curated member publications to be made available on select premium trains. This collaboration reflects AIM’s vision of integrating quality reading into everyday journeys—transforming travel time into an opportunity for discovery, engagement, and enrichment. By placing magazines in the hands of millions of passengers, AIM not only elevated the visibility of its member titles but also reinforced the cultural and educational value of print media in public spaces. By bringing magazines into the railway ecosystem, AIM reaffirmed its commitment to making reading accessible, relevant, and enjoyable—wherever the journey takes you.
